TTT moderators

Each TTT group has a moderator. Moderators are the participants who volunteered to help their colleagues with all the problems that might arise and be intermediaries between their groupmates and the organising team. Their role is absolutely vital for TTT, that's why we consider them part of our extended TTT organising team, and provide them with some special perks.

Armando Peña
Sunday 12:00 Advanced

Hello, my name is Armando. I am from Spain. I am a CELTA certified Teacher of English and I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism. I have been teaching for over 18 years to students of different age ranges (young learners and adults) at universities, middle and high school and academies.
What I love most about teaching is that I get to help students and make them see how beautiful this language is and how they can make it useful for their academic and professional lives. Also, because teaching is a process of learning. It requires time to update with the changing syllabus, increasing the scope of the subject. It keeps you busy reading books and creating new materials for your students. Long story short, it makes you a long-life student, hence I have joined Teachers Teach Teachers, a way of sharing knowledge and interact with a fresh group of talented teachers.
It is a new beginning in my journey but I’m sure it will encourage me to work as long as I can. It will keep me lively.

Olga Belyakova
Tuesday 11:00 Advanced

Hi everyone! I’m Olga Belyakova. I’m a moderator of the Tuesdays 11 a.m.
group in General English Track Year 2.
I’m from Cherepovets which is somewhere in between Moscow and St.-Petersburg.
I’m immensely enjoying being a part of TTT project. Though, it took me about half a year to decide whether I should go for it and join the community of like-minded colleagues or not.
To tell you the truth, it was my fear which made me have second thoughts about me being able to make any kind of contribution to this community.
I’ve managed to overcome my fear and joined in last December. As it turned out, I shouldn’t have hesitated. It was totally worth it.
If you are reading this now and you feel scared to join in, just know that you’re not alone and that being a part of TTT definitely pays off.
