Types of interactions in Zoom classes

This webinar is for those who are having a hard time with tech while being a TOM at TTT, those who are new to zoom group lessons, mostly teach offline and/or 1 on 1, or those who are familiar with zoom interactions, but would love to get a couple more tips and tricks on how to make their lessons a bit more lively. We’re going to go through the types of interactions at the lessons, how to interchange them to make your students gripped and what buttons to click so it all runs smoothly.

Qualitative overview of Rhetorical Devices in English

The webinar talks about rhetorical devices in general discussing mainly the questions of when, where and why we need to learn or teach them. This webinar is designed for both experienced teachers and for the teachers who have just started their journey in teaching English. We altogether will be trying to discover whether we need to teach rhetorical devices to our students or we have already been doing it even without particularly aiming at it. The webinar is also believed to be especially useful for the teachers who teach different age groups as they will discover a number of reasons for teaching rhetorical devices that differ from one another. We will particularly focus on understanding and using metaphors in different fields and spheres, shortly touching upon Conceptual Metaphor Theory as one of the leading theories in the field at the moment. We will also take a quick look at Rhetorical Analysis Essay and its specific features to have much more comprehensive look at the writing of others and benefit from it as we need. All in all, we will discover the importance of teaching rhetorical devices to people from different fields and occupations.
