Maria Govorukhina

Speaker:

Maria is a Moscow-based English teacher. She has about 10 years of teaching experience but started working as a full time teacher in 2014 after gaining her CELTA. In 2018 she took the CAE exam and got Grade A. Maria specialises in teaching adults and works as DOS at blteng.ru which she runs together with her colleague Daria Igolkina. In her free time she enjoys travelling and meeting new people, cooking and gardening, listening to music and going to gigs.

Padlet Basics





Synopsis:

I will talk about advantages of using Padlet for online and offline teaching as well as for blended
learning. I will explain the differences between the free plan and the premium one, showing some
lifehacks on how to earn more Padlets. Also, I will show some real examples of how I used Padlet for my
classes.


You will learn all the basics: from setting up an account to creating beautiful presentations. You will have
a chance to practice everything you’ve learned right away under my guidance.

Liliya is an English teacher, a mother of three and a keen photographer, traveler and reader, born in Russia and currently based in Ukraine. In terms of professional interests, Liliya is particularly into teaching adults and she plans to do CELTA in the near future. Despite a busy daily schedule, she manages to organize her time to combine both family and job commitments and personal development, and she is willing to share her ways with TTT colleagues.
